Hi, I am Heather Bottjen.

I am a birth and family photographer in the Twin Cities. I have been doing photography as a hobby for over a decade and photographed my first birth in 2018. I have always loved pregnancy and birth and before photographing it, I worked in the hospital as an ultrasound technologist. I also became a trained birth doula after my own home birth in November of 2020. After battling infertility for seven years and being an adoptive mama, I am passionate about capturing the sacred moments surrounding new family additions.

I live in a 105 year old house in the Chisago Lakes area with my husband and three daughters. I love coffee, thrift and antique shopping, and spending time with my family.
